Cookies and browser settings

The “Help” function of most browsers will tell you how to stop the browser accepting new cookies, what to do so that the browser warns you when you receive a new cookie and how to disable cookies completely. Furthermore, you can disable or eliminate similar data used by the browser’s additional components, such as Flash cookies, changing the settings of the additional component or visiting the website of the relative producer.

Advertising on Internet

On our websites we publish adverts defined based on interests using the information you give us when you interact with our websites , contents or services. Advertising defined based on interests, sometimes called “personalised” or “targeted”, appears on your browser based on information on your preferences and purchase or display activities, such as purchases made on our websites, use of devices, applications or software, on your visits to websites displaying the contents or advertising of F@ctory s.r.l.

Like other online networks, we use cookies, web beacons (also called action tag or single-pixel gif), and other technologies (jointly, “the cookies”). Cookies enable us to know what adverts you see, which adverts you choose and how else you interact on our websites and on those of third parties. This enables us to offer you more useful, pertinent advertising. For example, knowing which adverts are shown to you, we can make sure that the same advert does not appear to you all the time .

On providing you with advertising based on your interests, we do not associate your interaction with websites independent of us with your identity.

We do not communicate personal information to producers and advertisers present in our portals.

Advertising preferences

F@ctory s.r.l. allows you to choose and receive advertising based on interests. You may choose not to receive that advertising. In that case you will still see adverts, but they will not be personalised. Visit your Advertising Preferences page to know how to set these preferences. Moreover, as was described above, you can modify the settings of most browsers so you are warned when you receive a new cookie, and to be able to disable all cookies.
